This semester’s reading. Except for Jacobs, I’ve just added that to the pile.
Kolko’s “Thoughts on Interaction Design” is the most enjoyable so far. Much of it is already familiar to me, and I can really see his influence on my school’s department now.
Porter’s “Competitive Strategy” is dry, but very thoughtfully written. It outlines some of the absolute basics of business strategy.
I added “The Death and Life of Great American Cities” because I feel it is important to keep reading outside of class assignments. I picked it up because of my interest in urban planning. Even though it was written decades ago, it is still pretty relevant.
